As we prepare to welcome the Prince of Peace, the Lausanne Peace and War Cohort invites believers across nations to gather as one body to bear one another’s burdens in prayer. From many regions experiencing violence and injustice, voices will rise together in lament for the suffering caused by war and conflict, to intercede for healing and justice, and to reaffirm our shared hope for God’s work of reconciliation. Guided by Scripture and the Advent promise of peace, this virtual vigil will weave together prayers, reflections, and moments of silence for our wounded world — trusting that even amid great darkness, the light of our Lord Jesus still shines and will overcome.
