"Is Peace Possible?" Join us Thursday, March 3 at 11 am EST for a webinar discussion hosted by Churches for Middle East Peace of the recent publication: Is Peace Possible: Christian Palestinians Speak, with representatives from the Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land and CMEP board member communions, and moderated by Julie Schumacher Cohen, Assistant Vice President in Community Engagement & Government Affairs at The University of Scranton.
The authors are the Justice and Peace Commission of the Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries in the Holy Land, presided over by Latin Patriarch Emeritus, Michel Sabbah. The book provides an excellent introduction and background on today's declining Christian presence and their situation in the land of Our Savior's birth. It is highly recommended for those seeking to better understand the Holy Land and the Christian place within it.
*Recommended for church leaders, laity, and those making a pilgrimage.
