In-Person Advocacy Summit

Register Now! Join Churches for Middle East Peace for our first in person Advocacy Summit since 2019. On April 20 we will hear from keynote speakers and panelists from Israel/Palestine and the U.S. including Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb, Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac, and Rev. Dr. Jack Sara. Participants will have the opportunity to take the stories they have heard and advocate on behalf of human rights in Israel and Palestine with their Congressional offices on Friday, April 21. We hope you will consider joining us for fellowship, learning, and the chance to raise your voice on Capitol Hill this April. 

 
 

Documentary and Discussion

On Sunday February 12, join Churches for Middle East Peace for an online discussion about the documentary “’Til Kingdom Come” at 3:00pm Eastern / noon Pacific. Learn about the political alliance between US Evangelical pastors and the state of Israel. Watch the film for free at your convenience; then join the Q&A Discussion on February 12 with an expert panel. 

 
 

Join Us in Houston

Join Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) and Fuller Seminary Houston on Thursday, Feb 16, 2023 for a talk from three esteemed Palestinian Christian leaders from Bethlehem-- Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb, Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac, and Jack Sara. Their talk will explore how Palestinian Christian theology engages with biblical notions of the Land and its inhabitants. Refreshments will be provided.  

 

Faith Leaders Gathering in Dallas

Faith leaders of the Dallas/Fort Worth area are invited to join Faith Commons and Churches for Middle East Peace for a February 17, 2023 luncheon and conversation about the importance of Interfaith Peacebuilding in Israel and Palestine. We will hear a short message from three esteemed Palestinian Christian leaders from Bethlehem-- Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb, Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac, and Jack Sara. The luncheon will include opportunities for networking and discussion about hurdles and best practices for interfaith coalition building towards justice and peace in Palestine and Israel. Cost: Suggested donation of $15 per person

Public Statements:

January 28, 2023: Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) Condemns Escalating Violence in Jerusalem and West Bank and calls on US Government to Engage CMEP condemns the violence and attacks being reported over the last two days in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt). We grieve the loss of both Israeli and Palestinian lives and call on the US government to do everything possible to bring an end to the violence.
